Biz Essentials was formed in 2006 to distribute the employment and management products developed by Rees-Thomas Limited. Rees-Thomas Limited was established in 2004 and specialises in business development, leadership development, coaching, human resource and employment advisory services. Mark Rees-Thomas
Mark Rees-Thomas is a qualified lawyer and Human Resources practitioner. He specialises in business development, leadership development, and one-on-one coaching. Mark started his career as a lawyer specialising in employment law. He then practised in the area of human resources and was a member of the Senior Executive team of EDS New Zealand as their HR Director. In that role he facilitated the leadership development programme in New Zealand and other Asia Pacific countries and worked with business leaders to implement business growth strategies and cultural change programmes.
Mark has worked with a number of organisations to implement growth and change strategies, and leadership programmes, as well as helping organisations align their vision, values and goals.
Mark also coaches executives and other individuals to achieve their business and personal goals.
Simon Rees-Thomas
Simon Rees-Thomas is a Barrister based in Wellington. He specialises in civil and commercial litigation and legal advice. Prior to becoming a Barrister, Simon was a Partner in the New Zealand Law firm Kensington Swan for 8 years. He has a wealth of experience in the resolution of complex disputes, through mediation, arbitration and Court litigation. Simon has acted for employers and employees in the employment law area over a number of years.
Andrew Stewart
Andrew Stewart is an Engineer specialising in developing and maintaining management systems and solutions for the telecommunications industry. Andrew is responsible for the creation and delivery of the Biz Essentials products.
